Hello! I am Sandy Fellers. I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a major in Exercise and Sports Studies with a minor in French. I did my graduate work at Tarleton State University where I picked up a second major in Social Studies and received my teacher training. I was a member of the T-MATE project to certify teachers. My first three years of teaching were at Iredell ISD. While there, I taught French I and II as well as Texas History, US Government, Psycology and Sociology. I was also Head Girls Basketball and Track. In 1995, I came to Industrial High School to coach volleyball, basketball and track and teach World Geography. After a few years, I changed to US Government and Economics where I stayed until May of 2004. That fall I went to be the Head Volleyball coach at Brazoswood High School in Lake Jackson. I taught Government and Economics there as well. In January of 2005 I opened my own business out of my home. In August of 2005 I expanded my business, All Star Day Care & Preschool, to its own site. It is now a growing, thriving business and I was able to put into the capable hands of a manager and return to the school I love and the profession that brings me great joy! Therefore, I am excited to be back home at IHS!!
I am married to Jeff and we have four children, all of which are in school here at Industrial now. We live in Vanderbilt and enjoy being part of this community. We are active members of the United Methodist Church of Edna.
