Vision Statement:

All of the Industrial Independent School District students will be taught a uniform curriculum based on a state and District adopted courses of study.  The district has high expectations of its students and declares its effort and resources to assure that each student will learn and will be a contributing responsible member of an ever-changing society.

Goal & Objectives

Goal:  The students in Industrial ISD will demonstrate exemplary performance in:   reading, writing, ELA, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Objective 1:  Parents will be partners with educators in the education of their children.

Objective 2:  Students will meet their full educational potential in Mathematics.

Objective 3:  Students will meet their full educational potential in Science.

Objective 4:  Students will meet their full educational potential in Reading.

Objective 5:  Students will meet their full educational potential in ELA.

Objective 6:  Students will meet their full educational potential in Writing.

Objective 7:  Students will meet their full educational potential in Social Studies.

Objective 8:  Through enhanced dropout prevention efforts, all students will remain in school until they graduate from and obtain a high school diploma.

Objective 9:  Through enhanced attendance programs, all students will remain in school until they graduate from and obtain a high school diploma.

Objective 10:  Industrial ISD will provide a well-balanced and appropriate curriculum to all students, in all subject areas.

Objective 11:  Industrial ISD will recruit, develop, and retain highly qualified and effective personnel.

Objective 12:  The students of Industrial ISD will demonstrate exemplary performance in comparison to national and international standards.

Objective 13:  Industrial ISD will maintain a safe and disciplined environment conducive to student learning.

Objective 14:  Educators will keep abreast of the development of creative and innovative techniques in instruction and administration using those techniques as appropriate to improve student learning.
